When I agree to work with someone, it’s a commitment from me as much as it is from them. I’m putting my time, effort, and attention into their deals, and I take responsibility for that.
That’s why numbers stay small. Fit matters more than anything. I don’t work with two people from the same area competing for the same opportunities. I don’t want people in conflict with each other.
It’s not a rule for the sake of it. It’s simply how I work.
